Global hiring platform Velocity Global chooses Upflex to help them provide on-demand flexible office space to thousands of supported employees.

Velocity Global, a provider of talent solutions that help thousands of brands easily engage, manage, and pay global talent, has tapped Upflex as a flexible workspace solutions provider. As part of their mission to help build teams anywhere, Velocity Global is leveraging Upflex’s global space network of on-demand desks and meeting rooms as well as private offices, along with Upflex’s next-generation, secure booking technology to make safe, connected workspace available to distributed teams.

Velocity Global’s Global Work Platform™ helps clients engage talent, quickly and easily onboard and pay employees, and ensure compliance.  The company began a pilot with Upflex a year ago, in April 2022, offering 2,000 supported employees on-demand access to more than 10,000 flexible workspaces in 135 countries. They have plans to roll out Upflex to another 4,000 employees.

“Hiring and retaining the best talent demands flexibility,” said Velocity Global VP of Strategic Partnerships Colin McDonagh. “The modern workplace presents the challenge of providing employees the option to work remotely in addition to having the ability to collaborate in-person. That’s why we are excited to partner with Upflex. Their mission to build better workspaces for distributed teams aligns with our focus of simplifying work anywhere — enabling forward-thinking companies to get the best of both worlds.”

In the global shift to flexible work, Upflex allows supported employees to manage teams’ workspace usage through solutions like Upflex’s On Demand, which helps companies cut costs by allowing them to only pay for the space they use and to scale and adapt their workspace strategy as needs change.

This collaboration showcases innovative approaches to modern work, allowing Velocity Global’s client companies to leverage data, cut costs, compete for talent, and change with the times, said Upflex CEO Christophe Garnier.

“Velocity Global is embracing change and building a future-forward strategy for flexible work, and we’re honored to be a partner to them in that transformation,” Garnier said. “Our goal is to empower forward-thinking companies and their people to discover, manage, and optimize workspaces that meet their changing business needs, and it’s exciting to see that mission in action with an industry leader like this.”
