NEW YORK, NY | October 28, 2022: Upflex—the premier global provider of hybrid workspace solutions—today announced it has partnered with Chief Brand Advisory (CBA) to launch a reimagined brand strategy, in tandem adding CBA’s Founder, Brad Kay as an investor and advisor. The company’s brand reposition well prepares Upflex for rapid, strategic growth in a key moment of inflection, as the global workforce continues to reimagine and redefine the long-term workspace norms.

Brad Kay of Chief Brand Advisory, formerly the Chief Brand Officer of Convene.

“Upflex is meaningfully altering the dynamics of the workplace, offering flexible and adaptable solutions in today’s ever-evolving work environments,” said Kay. “Christophe and his team are not just providing tech, but empowering employers to discover, manage and optimize workspace  to both meet evolving business needs and employ spaces that inspire collaboration, well-being, and community. I am honored that my team and I had the opportunity to help them execute a clear brand vision and I’m thrilled to continue my journey as an investor as well as an advisor.”

With more than two decades of marketing and branding experience, Kay founded CBA in January 2020. CBA was launched on the idea that elite brand strategy and marketing expertise can be provided “as-a-service” and custom tailored to the unique needs of its clients. CBA’s seasoned marketing executives are embedded with senior leadership, strategically guiding founders, VCs, CMOs, and other C-suite executives through important inflection points with the speed, agility and flexibility of a start-up. The firm also works with Funded Founders to define their personal brands. In a short period of time, CBA has attracted a wide range of clients—from Fortune 100 global companies to start-ups across categories including Commercial Real Estate, PropTech, FinTech, E-Bikes, Retail Design and Venture Capital—united by a desire to build strong brands that connect with culture, accelerate growth and make an impact.

Prior to launching CBA, Kay was the Chief Brand Officer of Convene and spent nearly a decade before that as the President of SS+K, best known as President Obama’s Youth Marketing Agency. Brad has been recognized by both Forbes and Business Insider as one of a select group of CMOs to Watch.

“In the past couple years, the world has changed, the way we work has changed, and in response to surging new demand for better flexible work solutions, Upflex has grown and changed, too,” said Christophe Garnier, CEO & Co-Founder, Upflex. “Brad and his team were indispensable in helping us simplify our narrative and strengthen our brand in this moment of growth. Optimizing the workplace for flexibility has been our focus since inception, and we’re looking forward to continuing to catalyze this mission as we expand our service offerings and our global team. Brad’s role as an investor and advisor is critical to bringing this next phase to life.”
